What does the Q signal “QRV” mean?
- A.You are sending too fast
- B.There is interference on the frequency
- C.I am quitting for the day
- D.I am ready to receive (correct answer)
WhyThe Q signal QRV means I am ready to receive. "QRV" tells the other station you're ready to receive, answer D. It doesn't comment on sending speed, report interference, or announce that the operator is quitting for the day.
