Which Q signal indicates that you are changing frequency?
- A.QRU
- B.QSY (correct answer)
- C.QSL
- D.QRZ
WhyQSY is the Q signal indicating you're changing frequency. QSY means "I am changing frequency" (or, as a question, "shall I change frequency"), commonly used to move a conversation off a busy calling frequency, answer B. QRU (A) asks whether the other station has anything more for you, QSL (C) confirms receipt of a message or contact, and QRZ (D) asks who is calling, none of which involve changing frequency.
