General exam question G2D09
Subelement G2, OPERATING PROCEDURES· Group G2D
Which of the following is required when participating in a contest on HF frequencies?
- A.Submit a log to the contest sponsor
- B.Send a QSL card to the stations worked, or QSL via Logbook of The World
- C.Identify your station according to normal FCC regulations (correct answer)
- D.All these choices are correct
WhyContesting on HF requires identifying your station according to normal FCC regulations, the same as any other operation. Contest operation doesn't relax any FCC identification requirement, you still identify your station exactly as normal rules require, answer C. Submitting a log or sending QSL cards might be expected by a particular contest's own sponsor rules, but neither is an FCC requirement, so D's "all of these" overstates what's actually mandated.
